Lust or Must

I have not update the blog in a LONG time. So I thought I would come back with a new segment. Lust or Must. Here I will dish out my favorite things right now, which ones are lusts (meaning prepare to pay more, but its better quality) or must (as in, you need this, if you are broke, buy this version)

SO HERE WE GO!

LUST: Bare Essentuals Mineral Foundation

So it's no secret that Bare Essentuals is taking over the world. I have bought it a few times, mostly for special occassions, when I reallY was willing to spend a bit more for some nicer stuff. The only complaint that I have ever had about their powder foundation, is that I have freckles, and lots of them in fact. I always felt like I had to wear foundation under it as well to get the coverage I wanted. But I was at Sephora the other day, and tried it again, and man was it better this time. I dont know if they changed the formula or something, but it was a lot better. Plus now they have these fifty click tops to keep your foundation in there, so its not all over the place. I hated that. It is a great foundation, looks natural. Runs about $25 a piece.

MUST: Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder

I bought this a while ago and so far it has really served it purpose well. It can build up to look a little cakey, so watch out, but for the price, it has been the best coverage an inexpensive mineral make-up can get. Plus for whatever reason it lasts forever. I have had mine 2 months, and usually it would be gone by now, but I still have more than half the bottle. A little goes a long way. You can get this at Wal-mart for $11.

LUST: Bare Essentuals Radiance in Pure Radiance

What can I say besides this all over glow powder makes your face look bright, fresh, healthy, and flawless. Its light enough in color that it doesnt overwhelm your skin tone, and it add just enough brightness to the face. LOVE. $18

MUST:Physicans Formula Shimmer strips in Waikiki strip

I love these strips. I usually get them in Vegas strip, but when you want a more peachy summery glow, Waikiki strip is the way to go. They add enough shimmer, and I love that you can customize the colors for you. At Wal-mart for $12

LUST: Makeup Forever HD Powder

You will die for this, die I tell you. I was taught about this amazing little product by my teacher at school who is a make-up atrist. It feels like silk, literally like silk on your face. It is essential for setting your powder without it looking cakey, it is amazing for smoothing lines and wrinkles. Over all, this is THE most amazing product you will ever own. You face will look like a freaking porcelein doll. You need this, its only $15.50 at Sephora.

MUST: Ben Nye Neutral Set Face Powder

Ok, so the other one was a must, but if you REAAAAAAALLLLY dont have $16 bucks to spend, get this. It's similar to HD powder in the way that it sets your make-up, and helps your complexion look smoother, but sometimes the white of the powder can be too white, and doesn't blend away entirely like it should. It also is a little rougher than HD. You can feel a very distinct difference when feeling them both. BUT, this is a great cheap version that will help give you a similar flawless finish. At Taylor Maid for $6.

LUST: Bare Essentuals Buxom lipgloss in Bunny

Wow I have a lot of Bare Essentual products on here today, but hey, they know how to do it right! Anyway a friend suggested this lipgloss to me, and I am in full blown love. Bunny is the prettiest sheer pink color, its not too pink pink, its the perfect baby pink, and Im obsessed. Plus its a lip plumper...or so it says. Personally I dont think its an amazing lip plumper, you can tell a little when you first put it on, but then it fades away, but it does make your lips tingle a bit and feel really cold, which I love, and the color is just what you cant deny. At Sephora $18

MUST: Revlon Colorbust Lipgloss in Pink Ice

I couldn't find a single lipgloss one day, so I ran on my break from work over to Target and grabbed the 1st sutible lipgloss I could find. I got this one. It is not a "plumper" like buxom, but it is still a really really pretty shade of pink, its actually mostly clear with just a hint of pink, and tons of shimmer...but not the stripper type of lip shimmer. Enough to just see it catch the light and look pretty. If you aren't equipt to spend almost $20 bucks on a lipgloss, go for this one at Target for $7.
